Let's suppose you are a GOP County Commissioner, like Mr. Valenty.  Some Commissioners in PA are also County political chairs.  Let's suppose that someone comes from the PAGOP.  The PAGOP representative wants to be "helpful".  The PAGOP representative wants a donation to pay for Harrisburg staff, the PAGOP expensive Philly lawyers and to pay for those nasty PAGOP mailers and robo calls.  The local Commissioner and Party Chair now gets very nervous and starts sweating.  He knows that the PAGOP can turn on him as it did Valenty.  He can see in his mind those nasty mailers calling this hard-working party leader and public servant a RINO.  Then the PAGOP representative puts on a different hat and says by to Commissioner XXX:  "By the way, my good man, Do you need insurance services?  We would love to serve your county and we are very good.  Can we have an opportunity to bid on the County insurance and by the way, wouldn't it be in your interest to hire a good Republican firm?  You need to support the people that support you and your beliefs!"    As we PATRIOTS have warned,  insurance and politics are a toxic mix!   WE PATRIOTS understand the real significance of Feisty Senior Sam Valenty's warnings.   The local Cambria elite media does not.  VALENTYGATE will be the major story of the upcoming municipal elections.

Without a doubt, Col. Legenfelder will be AWOL and Wissinger will promise not to raise your taxes ever again. But what is the real record of the Gleason Machine, when it comes to tax increases? How many tax increases has the Gleason Machine Den Mother and Johnstown City Councilwoman Ann Wilson  voted for? And just last night, Robert A. Gleason III voted once again for a tax increase for the Westmont School District. According to published reports,  Prince Gleason lectured fellow board members on the importance of tax increases. So Patriots beware of false prophets.The Gleason Machine Butt Boys are not about a taxpayer friendly government!  Securing contracts for Gleason Machine friends and supporters does not help us suffering taxpayers. Patriot Russell has signed our pledge declaring the Ebensburg Courthouse a Gleason-machine free zone.  The Gleason Machine is running the City of Johnstown and that's a big enough job.  Patriot Russell is demanding that all other Commissioner Candidates sign this pledge before our nation's birthday!
