At tonight's vesper service in the PATRIOT WAR ROOM, our chaplain offered a stirring tour d' force (in Western PA speak that means our Chaplain kicked ASS BIGTIME!!!). He said that he believed SAM VALENTY is a Christ figure. He said that all the powerful and well-funded Romans and King HEROD who tried to maintain tyranny at any cost were outdone by the simple TRUTH of Christ and his early Christian followers. According to our chaplain, if only power and money win out, then we would still be worshipping Zeus and we would be seeing VESTAL VIRGINS running around. Our Chaplain believes that Feisty Senior Sam is offering up his entire lifetime reputation to bring TRUTH to Cambria County. According to our Chaplain, Valenty has been crucified by the Pharisees, the hypocrites, the Gleason Machine and the PAGOP but his spirit, his cause have been resurrected, because the TRUTH shall prevail. The Chaplain said that we need to remember that the largest church in the World is dedicated to St. Peter, Jesus' Chief of Staff, and not to Pontius Pilate. We closed vespers by singing THE BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC.
